Combined my extensive knowledge of the Silent Hill franchise with diligent research to craft a VO script for GINX.tv.
Project: ‘Origins’
Client/Employer: GINX.tv
Goal: To write an engaging episode of the esports network’s ‘Origins’ series
Challenge: Provide information to an avid gaming audience that they might not already know about a beloved, 20-year old game
Results:
- Successfully pitched an episode to GINX.tv producers by writing sample dialogue
- Conducted fact-checking and discovery research to uncover interesting tidbits about Silent Hill
- Met or exceeded deadlines for each draft of the VO script
- Provided reference videos and screenshots for the production team, as well as pronunciation guides for Japanese names
The following video aired on GINX.tv in the Spring of 2021. It was repackaged as “The History of Silent Hill” and shared on various social channels by the company in 2022.
